Nice series. I particularly like #3, the gull in flight.

Very well framed with a very good sense for geometry. You have got "the eye".

The presentation is great. Extraordinary sharpness and colour accuracy, especially from a camera with such a tiny sensor (although it is larger than most compact camera sensors)

Is the name really "Lagan"? Well, I believe you. There are four rivers in the region Halland here on the west coast. They are called Nissan (yes), Ätran, Viskan and Lagan. I wonder if it´s a coincidense. I´ll try to find out if the naming has ancient nordic roots. J R R Tolkien would have known. I´ll let you know if I find out

Your 5th shot, especially gives me a feeling of serenity!

All are neat and well exposed

Thanks for viewing and the comments

I have a lot of fuji v10 pics and have'nt had time to get out and

about with the D80 recently. The fuji v10 is a 5 megapixel cam

plus I find I can enhance a lot of the pics with various photogaphy

programs, but like any other cam I still got a lot of discard shots.

Interesting to see you've got a river Lagan as well lol, must be

a nordic connection as you say....musket

Would you recommend the F10/11/30/31fd/upcoming 40 as a pocket size camera (it´s got the same great sensor I think)

Very nice shots. However, it seems (on my monitor) that you applied a tad too much sharpening. Thanks for sharing them.

perhaps it's the cream I've been putting in one of my eyes for an

eye infection lol and I Ineed them sharper to make them look right

to me :-) or it's a just a bad habbit of liking eveything very sharp :-)

tastes change all the time, I'll have to try not to get them too sharp.

in case someone has a better monitor than me :-)

I see steve has got some sample pics from the fuji v10
