I took a very quick trip through Monument Valley on the Utah/Arizona border last weekend. This is a panorama I was able to catch. I just hope the extreme compression doesn't ruin the effect. It really is a nice image, in my opinion.

I like it.......the bareness in the foreground IMHO, leads you into the photo. Good job.

Here is another one taken the next day looking back on the same formations, looking back from the opposite direction.

Very cool shots!! I have always wanted to visit there since I started John Wayne movies as a kid! Very easy to see why he fell in love with the area. Wasn't your 2nd shot the place where Forest Gump stops running in the movie??? & decides to go home? with everyone following him?? Sorry ... I liked that movie too!
