Nice picture, but why is half the water white and blurry, or is it my eye's playing tricks on me.

I liked the silver reflection on the lake! The trees on the foreground, also, complements the composition greatly

Thank you, Bahadir and Hercules. There was a slight breeze rippling the water, causing the blurred reflection. The surface of the lake near the shore was sheltered, so the reflections were clearer there.

Thank you so very much, Bob. Coming from someone as talented as you are, that's about as great a compliment as I've ever gotten.

Thank you for the kind words Toshi, although I think I have way more luck than talent. I only took up photography when digital cameras appeared a few years ago. Some people on here call me a pro, it's flattering but not true, I am just a factory worker who loves photography like the rest of you all, I just read all I can about photography, look at the work of the real pros and then I try real hard totake what I learn and do the best I can with what I have available to photograph. I can assure you Idelete way more photos than I keep.:GI really do appreciate you, and my other friends here on the forum for your encouragement, itpushes me to go out and try hard to do my best! I hope my words do the same for others!

Your friend

Bob

Great picture. This file has many opportunities. Some blue and green looking almost metallical, like the colour of a mallard´s head
