This is the area I frequent to shoot birds. It was a nice sunny afternoon after some torrential rains and blustery weather in the mornng. Some left over clouds to make things quite interesting in the sky...cheers....Don

So tangible are the clouds that they almost look like hovering meteors!!

Very nice images conveyinginspirational impression of some beautiful geography

Don,

Number 1. Great picture. It sucks you into the center lower third part and blows you away through the clouds and back

Again and again.

Nice work, Don, especially #1. You've really nailed the exposure on all three of these shots, but this one's perfect. Love the clouds, too.

PS - Mind telling us where you took these shots? I wouldn't mind giving that place a visit sometime!

Thanks everyone! That first shot really showed off the blustery sky. Neat looking clouds, and there was some thunder and lightning further east from where I was.

Toshi, these were all shot from the Maplewood Wildlife Sanctuary. It is just east of the 2nd Narrows bridge in North Van. Take the first exit east off the bridge and follow the road about half a mile. Entrance is on your right side just past the old looking crab shop....cheers....Don

All are good. I'd boost the contrast in the second one.
