Thanks for looking, Hercules. The original pic is pretty accurate in that it shows the scene the way I saw it, ie, the sky at the time was grey, not blue. Your edit also gives the mountains a strange blue tint. Anyway, thanks again for taking an interest!:-)

Thank you all very much. The beauty of this area - the Kootenays - is stunning. I only wish I had a bit more time to get some more pics, but such is life. Here's a shot of the same scene without the building.

That's a beautiful lake!

If memory serves me right there's a railroad over there on the other side of the lake (can't see um).

Thanks for bringing back a good memory.
