Took this shot a few times with many different exposure settings, found that the one which worked best was the darkest!
I'm loving the sky and how the colour reflects on the train tracks (more obvious on larger image size)

The darker the more dramatic, indeed... Well done!

thats a tricky lighting situation - did you use an ND filter? anyone else know if that might of helped with this?

i used nowt.

because ALL my gear was stolen, at the moment i own nothing but a D80....

Just played about in manual with the exposure basically doing a manual bracketing... and i guess with a little knowledge and a lot of luck it came out well!!

Wouldve loved an ND grad, tripod polarizer and remotelike i had<sigh>

anywho..

later on I changed the colors a little in corel photopaint... just to emphasise it a tiny bit, also added a little gama so it wasnt a total blackout silouette, just to add a tiny bit of detail to the landscape, even though, for me the subject is the sky

p.s. : bahadir:
As a stage lighting technitian i couldnt agree more, the principals are the same. you have no idea how much more effect five lights can have rather than 50 robotic moving lights!
