Ironically, Dallas has absolutely no history of cattle drives or cowboys. But it looks pretty good.

While you're in the area I bet people here would enjoy the Mustangs running through the water, too, hint hint.

The Barbarian May 30, 2007 6:53 PM

Actually, I've posted the Los Colinas Mustangs before, but hey...

JDar May 30, 2007 6:57 PM

Oh, thanks for doing that! It has been a long time since seeing those and I really like that work.

good shots, glad you posted the mustangs again or i would have missed them and they are great, it makes me think the others are bronze also can we see the mustangs in B/W?

The Barbarian May 31, 2007 8:59 AM

Here's a better one. And yes, both groups are bronze.

Awesome series, Barbarian! Very good idea of posting in B&W it really adds to the shots! They remind of the sculptures at the Cowboy Hall of Fame in OK City. It has been too long since I've been there last but I keep telling my wife that we need to take a w/e trip there again. The last time we were there, we arrived when it opened & stayed until it closed. If y'all haven't been there, I highly recommend it. The gardens are beautiful & the artwork in the galleries are really something to see!!!
