Such a crisp image with hills of emerald greenbacked by rocky mountains and a wooden structureadding a pastoraltheme at the foreground !!

Great shot. I love the depth of field and layers of the old, decaying struture in the foreground, with the mountains in the background. Very efective.

Very nice shot Mike. Lovely scenery you have there. It does seem to have a slight yellow cast in the photo?

Thx Ollie. I wish I lived there. I'm about 1400 miles away!



AS for the yellowish cast, it was a drought and there was lots of dust. A very, very dry fall. Many of the trees were turning yellow because it was fall, but still had a green aspect to them creating a murky yellow. The meadows were all incredibly dry at that elevation. The combination of upping the color saturation and the sun behind me exaggerated the colors. Also, it was taken with a dusty kit lens after a long trip.
