This was shot out the window of the car going about 60mph. Some locals from Osoyoos said this is Bill Gate's place. Even if it isn't, it'd be nice to have you're own observatory....cheers.......Don

Shame he didn't insist you for a cup of coffee and afterwards some interior shots, too!

Btw, Ibetthere was someonein thecar to help with the steering wheelwhile you were busy with composition : ) Nice coloursalso (not a raw conversion though, is it?)

Yes, that would have been nice! I was the passenger on this trip, and you're right, they were shot in jpg.......cheers......Don

I like the shot, the building is very flat against the rugged landscape, looks almost out-of-place, superimposed even. thanks for posting

Nice picture,, i don't know if that is Bill Gates home,, but i do know that's not his main 97 million dollar (1 million annual property taxes) home in Kirkland Washington, but anyway nice shot frm inside the car

the only way to get his main home inMedina (about 8 miles from Kirkland) in one frame is from the air.... i've been in the same general area on numerous occasions,photographing herons, etc., but idon't even drive through his neighborhood!
