Now that really turned out fine! I think there will be artists wanting to paint that scene.

What else to say but "beautiful", and even, "picturesque"?

We are so lucky to see some great landscape photographs one after another recently, one of which I see right in front of me

Yes, that could bea'dream place' for an artistand a hiker alike!

I am so inspired myself as to touch the image to add a bit more DR to see what it would be like! Hope you don't mind my stir : )

I like what you did, Bahadir, thx!My only concern is the post processed light looksunnatural. The sun is setting behind Rising Wolf Mountain there, which would cast a huge dark shadow on the mountain inthe left of the picture.Whn it's all lit up, it makes it seem like it's in the middle of the afternoon.

One thing I always try to do with these images is create a 3D look. The image I posted was not post processed, that was the actual natural light. I think one of the benefits of this is that while the picture is a bit dark, it also has better contrast with the light colored front brush, and the darker mountain in the background. This gives it a more 3 dimensional feel.

I do feel it isa tad too dark, but I don't think much more can be done with it without removing the natural lightplay of the scene.

anyway, I wishI would have taken out my tripod for that one I took about twenty shots of the scene and this was one of my favorites.
