Well done, Chris! This geography has always impressed me:!:

Btw, I did not notice any imperfection due to noise, either!

Still your second version thanks to squirl's suggestion look punchier

I could also suggest clonning out the poles, although that's not a big issue!

Here's a quickedit to give an idea whether or not it is worth your two minute trouble

Chris, I believe there is some chroma noise and check this quick (and only) modification through Noise Ninja:
