Ehrm... Ehrm...

Welcome back, all of you

Hope you are refreshed. I myself got quite a leg stretcher ("Aoooii")

Girl´s voice from the audience: "Do you need anything, professor?". Boys grunting

So. Are you sitting well? Glad to hear. We may also refresh our memories on today´s topic

http://forums.steves-digicams.com/fo...amp;forum_id=8

You remember the the pre course class; we spoke about scientific methods, some ad hoc peculiarities, inductive methods and foremost the hypothetic-deductive method

I am glad to say. Forget all about it for today´s lecture.

Laughter and giggling

What I want you to do is to reset your minds (F5 as I use to say)

Prof laughing at his own joke, well, ok...

Let it be anybody´s guess what these carvings are all about. Moreover, let´s leave this dusty museum and follow the trail to the different locations

Prof: oh, my leg.

Audience Yes, yes, yes

For the moment the sun is shining

Good morning, professor! Thanks for more pictures of Tanum (and the stimulus to read more about it from various sites.) One source thought maybe the drawings were done by one person over a fairly short time. What do you think after spending time there? The drawings look as if the artist had fun with them--there don't seem to be any somber ones but more whimsical.

Thanks for viewing. Don´t know. For the moment your guesses are as good as the ones on the webb or as mine could have been.

The theories on interpretation leave lots of space. Would have been great to have a time machine.

Perhaps they were all done by a single hyper active young grafitti artist in his "Sturm-und-Drang"-period - oh, no, not likely (whatever that means)

Interesting series, nice shots and great dialogue, in the last pic it looks

as though reptiles are fighting, long tails and something sharp on one

of their legs, you couldmake up a story to those drawings

eg these creatures came here in a ship killed animals and

humans for food...did they go away again or did the humanskill

them...I wonder who won the fight?...or where they just stoping by for food supplies.....

............musket

Thanks. Anybody´s interpretation. Perhaps they were both loosing, given that they had to use violence?
