Default My favorite waterfall

Been lurking for awhile, finally decided to register.

I was in the right place at the right time. Taken with Powershot G2, and the light is real.

very good shot!
I almost can't believe the light is real. It looks like in those travelling brochures.

Lovely light on the waterfall, with just the correct exposure to convey the moving water.

Could I suggest a little cropping of the right hand edge to cut out that angled tree ? It would also remove a few of the bright sky patches, which to my mind draw the eye away from the main subject.

More please.

I agree with Graham, dis the tree on the right and you've got an even better photo.
Great work...

Nice shot - but the green areas lacks of details and that's a pitty in such a nice shot! But hey...we cant think of everything all the time cant we!

This is the full, uncropped frame, so there is some cropping before printing. For 4x6, 12x18, 20x30 I crop out the right side (including the tree in the top right corner) and it looks great. Got a big empty spot on my wall because I have 3 pictures displayed at a Digital Photography exhibition (including my 20x30 of this shot).

Thanks for the comments. Most people do seem to like this one.
