Here is a shot of a valley in the mountain area of Nantou County in the central part of Taiwan. The county has numerous high mountains including Taiwan's highest Jade Mountain. Cingjing Farm and the most beautiful lake in Taiwan, Sun Moon Lake, are also located in Nantou. The above shot was taken on the way to Cingjing Farm.

Taken about the same time as 2.Sorry for the size of images 2-3 which have to bemuch compressed so as not to exceedthe file size limit imposed here.1-3 all taken with Dimage A2.

At the end of the 4-day trip to Central Taiwan, the EVFof the A2 became defectiveand flippingof the display onthe LCD also occurred when the camera was turned on, the latter being the result of a defect with the Anti-shake system. I left the camera with Sony HK for checking and they said that the two items could be repaired at a cost of about US$150. I didn't want to spend that much on a camera thathas been used for over 3 yrs, so I took the camera back.

Photo 1 is beautiful. The floating mist is especially great. It softens the majestic feeling of the mountain and gives the scene a pleasant feeling. Pity that 2 & 3 cannot be larger. I think they are equally good.
