I love this time of year, especially when the heather's in full bloom, maybe not at it's most spectacular here, but I love it none the less :-)

Both nice shots John. I find the first one a bit more sharper and crisper than the second. I always liked it too when Heather was in bloom. My old girlfriend was named Heather. :lol:

By the way, my paternal grandmother was born in Barnstaple. Anywhere near you?

Bynx: thanks for the comments, yes Barnstaplequite close(same county anyway), although not so easy to drive to from here - if that make sense :-)

Torgny: glad you like the heather too, hopefully I'll get to post some more images soon.
