I had to hang off the back of the train to shoot this one.
Hubby held onto my jacket so I would not tumble off.

If you had used a tripod it might have been a little sharper.

I'd have had to balance that puppy on air! Our guide / guard was having a hissy fit with me as it was.

"I'm sorry, but you simply cannot straddle the barrier that way - you must come back onto the platform NOW".

Yes a monopod with a wheel. hahahahahaha:blah:

Its really amazing how deceptive this shot is. Doesnt look at all like you are actually on the train. Good one.

Alaska. I always wanted to go there. This travel series makes me want to do it even more.

Strong composition in all of the pictures.

Humouristic with a glimps in the eye. Do you have more photographies to share

Thank you, Torgny. You SHOULD visit Alaska some day. Especially in the Fall.
These pictures cannot express how lovely it is there.

We went for our 25th wedding anniversary. We did what is called a Southbound Cruisetour. One week on the land (2 nights in Anchorage, 2 nights in Denali, 2 nights in Copper River, one night in Valdez) followed by 7 nights cruise southbound thru the inside passage on the Coral Princess. It was expensive - but well worth the cost.
I do have many more pics to share from the trip and will post them as time goes.

Hope y'all don't get tired of them!

Our next trip is this October - 10 nights on the same ship, but this time we are doing the Panama Canal. I am hoping for a lot of excellent photo ops with this one, too.
