Default Grand Canyon aerial photo

There's no section for aerials here, so I guess it belongs in Landscape.

It was taken during a Skywest flight from Salt Lake City to Phoenix.

There was a fair amount of haze in the scene, and the unedited picture was pretty low-contrast. I used Auto Levels in photoshop, which brought out the colors (but, unfortunately, brought the noise up to a level where it's visible even in the 800x600 size image )

Very nice shot anyway. A bit too saturated in my taste, but then again, I never been in Gran Canyon!

using PS on a hazy skyshot like this almost feel like magic, right ?!
Everything suddenly can be seen!

Urban photo,

Nice shot. I've also been experimenting with out of plane window shots and I find it not only kills time but sometimes reaps unintended rewards as evidenced by your photo.

Unfortunately, flying from Hawaii to the continental US does not offer many opportunities to take as many shots as I would like.

Aloha.

Urban photo__

Considering this was shot with the standard double window pane
between lens and subject, this is a great shot!

Composition is outstanding .
