Default 3 Creek hiking photos

I took these a couple weeks back and almost forgot I had them. I actually went up to a firelook out west of Calgary to take some pictures of the sunrise over Calgary. Unfortunately because of the forest fires in the area the smoke didn't allow any decent shots to come out. However another person also made the 5am drive up the fire lookout and we started to chat. He told me about a little creek up in Kananaskis provincial park that if I hiked up it for about 45minutes leads to about a 100foot waterfall. Now before you get your hopes up, I did not get any pictures of the waterfall if it exists. After hiking for about 1hour I didn't find a waterfall. This is when common sence kicked in since I was by myself and no one knew where I was. So I headed back down and took these three shots while I was there:

Very nice set of pics. Loved the one with the log (third shot). The log adds so much to the composition. I realize that's an entirely personal perspective. Great collection.

Aloha
