Default Edinburgh City 2003

You probably have seen it before in colour. Well this is a new version in black and white. I added a new sky in Photoshop to try and make things a little more dramatic! Let me know what you think of it

regards
Martin.

Looks good, B+W makes it very effective. i did think the sky was a bit unreal, what camera did you take it with your G3 and just stich them together?

Thanks jayson. It's 3 photos stitched together. I'm always amazed at the detail my G3 can pick up!

I am completely tainted by the colour version of this photo. It became one of my favourite photoes to look at...hehe....so I am not fond of the black and white version.

But...

I like the contrast and the vividness of your black and white photo.
What have you done?
You desaturated and maybe adjusted contrast?? and ......?? hehe

I'm with soundengineer on this one.
Maybe it is because we have previously seen your color version.
I wonder what would have been my reaction if the BW would have been posted before this one.
Maybe I would have said : mmmhh, yes, the coloured verions is nice but, better the BW.
First impression .....
