Default PANORAMA ITALIAN ALPS 2513X556PIXELS AND 367KB

Maybe a bit overprocessed/compressed! I hope you like it anyway!

The city at the left side is Bolzano (Bozen) and the green lake at the right side is Lago Di Caldaro (Kaltern See) the distance between the two point is about 16KM going the direct way in car. This says something about the dimensions of these 8 merged shots. The original shot is 8424x1848pixels large and 44,5MB!

Comment Welcome as usual!

This one is definitely my favourite.
The shots are merged so seamlessly. Very well done!
I love the colour of the sky and how it lightens towards the mountain tops. I just wish I had a monitor as wide as the shot so I could get the full effect at once

Thanks Tracy and Koruvs. I tell you - the original is BIIIIIIIIG. But it's a kind of funny, because the size of a panoramashot really has it's own size. I can't be too big and certainly not too small. I found it very difficult to post the most convinient size.

Wow, Klaus Dk...stunning and seamless

The contrast of population centers versus the empty mountainsides is very interesting

When I lived in WA state, I took some friends from
Germany hiking for the day...

One of them remarked...(at a lake where we were
the only people there)....

"You would never be this alone in Germany"

Yet your previous series of Alps1-4 provides a
challenge to this statement.

Please...Just tell us which cafe in Europe has your panorama
on display

Kudos!

That is a panorama that the Italian tourist department ought to use in their travel brochures . It really gives a great vista of that area, almost as if you were really standing there yourself. Beautiful job !!

Digi. I'm not that lucky with cafes. But it would be great though! That's what we all want - get people to watch our shots - isn't it!

You should try Denmark, prob. one of the smallest countries in the world (5 mio. citizens)! We all know each other  !

Thanks Kanji!

Thanks Martin - what's OP ?
