Here are my first shots with the LX2 today. All were taken in Manual mode, RAW, converted to JPG, resized and a little 0.7 USM. What do you think?

Nice photos Metalfab! (and cool avatar too by the way!)

My preference, in order is: 1, 2, 3. I mean I like photo 1 the best of these three. The colours (esp orange sunset (or sunrise?) on purplish mountains is great!)

I also like photo 2, those bright reds amongst the green leaves and blue sky especially do well!

Photo 3 is my "least favourite" of this bunch, but still a decent photo imho. I just think it has too much "blown sky" (bright white) and also in the reflection.... But I know how tricky that is.

So you like your LX2 then? Well done!

Thanks for sharing.

Paul

...And I'm stuckat pic #2

IMO,a slight cropping off from the left and alittle fill in light @Photoshop raw converter would work for#2, andthe recovery tool for #3 would heal the issue Paul pointed out above : )

Thanks everyone for the comments. It was the perfect weekend for this time of year, I'll have to take advantage of every day now until next spring as its heading towards rain, rain and more rain.

Hi Don,

You are correct! I'm in Burnaby, the 1st shot is from the 700m mark on Mt. Seymour and the 2nd and 3rd is Deer Lake.
