Have you read the guidelines for posting, about how to do it? Apologies if it's just a mistake.

If you haven't just forgotten to attach the attachment (all of us havedone it at one time or another)...(the way out is to attach the attachment first, before typing the message)...

...clicking the "Browse" button below the editor to find the pic on your machine is the easiest way.

I travel to my daughter's in Edinburgh frequently, so I'm waiting for the pics!

Nope, not clones, that's exactly how they are. There is another block each side of the row in the pic that I cropped out and a bit more sky and the file was sized for the forum but that's the only time it spent in photoshop.

Thanks for the comments all.

Hi Everlong,

Welcome to the forum (as others have already said!)

I like your photo... actually the colour and scene does remind me of my time in the UK. The night sky and lights always seemed so yellow/amber to me (back until about 15 years ago in Australia, nearly all Australian street lights were white, many still are)...

The tower blocks remind me of what I've seen in Glasgow. Where exactly is this photo taken? (Edinburgh?)

Yes, handy to have a camera with you everywhere, all the time!! :-)

The more I look at your photo, the more details / things I notice... e.g. the red and white lines are from the long exposed photo capturing moving car lights, I expect... and I believe is that a cow in the field (paddock) foreground?)

Thanks for sharing!!

Paul

Your question illustrates one of the drawbacks to Steve's Forums display software & editor! The subtitle to the original post says "Motherwell" (near Glasgow), but you don't get to see it if you jump straight to the message from an email alert. When message posters fail to put a very distinctive title in the main title to their thread, I often forget which thread is which when I want to go back and reply even when I've only just been looking at the titles. Hi-ho. It's old age in my case. And once you've typed the title & subtitle (sometimes misspelling or mistyping them in my case) you can't change them.

Striking picture! I think I remember those flats from travelling round there.
