Hi guys,

I took this shot the other morning. I wasn't expecting the cows, so that was a nice suprise. Believe it or not this shot is a combination of about 4 exposures, and the cows didn't move an inch. I can assure you that they are real and not stuffed.

The fog in the background was an added bonus and the reason i set out to shoot that morning. The steam rising off the cow $hit everywhere was not a bonus though!

Holy cow:!: That's an exceptional job both technically (a triumph of your HDR abilities) and artistically regarding the composition IMO,for many people would just bungle with from where to shootsuch a greatopportunity, you know:-)

An image that will long be remembered, my friend

Longside1,

GREAT photo... what a well executed piece of work, both in terms of photo composition as well as your HDR production!

Love the soft colours and morning feel to it....

Having grown up on a "hobby farm" with a few cows, I know what you mean about mist rising from cow manure!! :-)

What a wonderful shot! Thanks for exhibiting it.I hope the satisfaction of such a result after hard electronic darkroom work provided as warm a glow as the image itself.

I've managed to linger in Glos & Wilts a few times recently, instead of hurtling by on the M5, and whenever I canI climb from those meadows up on to the escarpment to headin a leisurely wayfor relations in Bath & Chippenham. This shot will encourage meto choose my time of day & my route more carefully.
