Default Photo for post process contest :)

Hello all you shutterbugs out there in cyberspace

There are some AWESOME post-processors here on this
forum so I thought perhaps we could have a lil contest.

Here is an unretouched photo...which I invite, say 10 of you to
post process. Please number your post process by #1, #2,etc.
After 10 are in or a week has gone by...we will vote on the
best one.

Anything goes

Winner receives either: an attaboy or an attagirl

O.K., I'll be the first to have a go. Didn't really do too much. I actually like the photo as is.
I did some levels adjustment. Applied a little USM and cloned out a few things at the corners:

Here's my edit from the larger file.

Hi Digi

Good initiative!!!

I think it would be better to post larger shot with more elements in it. Minimum 800x600pixels. This is way to small to get something good out of.
Just my opinion!

I'll give it go for that attaboy - Tracy already seems to have scored that attagirl ha ha

I'll have a go too.
I just darkened and added some extra saturation to it.
I kinda like red skies.
And I agree with Klaus, a 800x600 photo would be better.

So this is #2:

Good idea, but first I must say I agree with Klaus, the pic is so small that the capabilities are limited.
But anyway, here is my attempt:
I leveld the horizon and added some contrast, I also sharpend a bit.

Greetings, Stefan

Yowza!!!

Hello forum contributors!

There have been some incredible entries!!!

Thanks much Jazcan, Stephan and AngelCurty

Yes, Klaus & Stepan, the photo is small.
Unfortunately, my photohosting service really
lessens size (automatically) when I post photos there.

Therefore, if any entrant would like it, I would be happy
to email the original jpg (1.15 mb) to them. Just send
me a private message with your email address

So long for now...and thanks MUCH!!!

Here is my entry. This is the one that is posted, not the origial. Just incase someone thinks I used it... Anyways, changed contrast/brighness and used some saturation. I repaired the vignetting on the top left and bottom left areas. Removed what to look like power lines on the top right corner. Removed some odd solid color pixilization on the clouds around the sunset area. And I also used NeatImage to remove the noise from the picture.
Hope you like it...
