Thanks! I screwed up and had the camera set on ISO 1600 and all of the pics were very grainy.

This was from Cultural Park looking out on Cockscomb rock.

Thanks Mandy! I guess a little noise is ok but my noise reduction plugin really softens the rest of the pic ... anyway, I learned something from it!!!!!

I happily see you quite exploited the presence of the edifices, if my memory serves,about which you had rightfullycomplained!

#2 Brings metomy favourite scenes from Western films, which call for a flickering camping fire...Oh, happy to bea simple man with simple pleasures : )

Btw, I wonder if you're using the photoshop elements for noise reduction. I'd also like to see how it looked like before the reduction process!

Hi bahadir ....

this is the 'before' shot .... I am using a PS plug in for noise reduction called Neat Image. I don't think I have quite mastered it though!

Judging from the originalyou've done quite a decent job Youneedn't be that humble my friend, for I almost could not believe they are the same picture:!:Btw, you know, that's the very software I use for noise reduction, but not as often anymore after Iwent DSLR:-)Remember our S70 days?
