These clouds dropped a lot of snow off in the distant mountains, which you can see from the pier.

IMO each hasa meritonits own! I liked #1 for the pier catching the rays of sunrise, #2 for the eye pleasing composition of clouds spreading over the skyas dothe wavesover the beach, reinforced by the pier stretching from left to right, ...and #3 for the appealing wide sight by the 16mm on a full frame sensor, the surfboard pointing to the edge of the pier

are those pics edited or the camera just filter the sky and water like that?
to do that what kinda settings do you use for exposure? the one it exposes the entire pic evenly? or the spot exposure

As I recall, I had a circular polarizer filter on the 16-35 lens. Little post processing in the computer.
