Hi guys,

I took this shot from my home town in lancashire whilst home for Christmas. The hill in the background is Pendle Hill, now infamous for it's witches...spooky!

I like this a lot. Movement in the clouds in the far distance, with the road leading in that direction. Impending....? Very nice capture.

It's a pleasure to share your good taste while observing the pictures you've shot

For this particular image, I'd echo Walter's impression above about the movement. I should also add that the coiling of thosemassive clouds over the hilllike a cocoon of spell, where the road leads to, look so awesome!! Still, IMO a slightly more striking point of viewmight have been acquired if you'd included abit more to the bottom, the grassy border, say the black stripe under the picture sacrificing from the top.Btw, please let us know ifthat's from your newD300 ; )

Nicely done. Excellent composition and subtle colors.

Thanks for the comments guys.

Bahadir, sadly this shot ws not taken with the D300, sadly since purchasing the camera it has not stopped raining in very damp Gloucestershire! However, the forecast is good today so fingers crossed my first D300 shot will be posted soon!
