Dear Torgny, aren't being a bit oppressive to this highly literate gentleman (Ivan), however an imaginary friend of yours he could be? : )

Btw, I also wonder if it was the renowned Russian landscape painter Ivan Shiskin who inspired you for the fictive name.

I wouldn't wish the West Europeans ans North Amaricans to have wrong impressions on Russian landscapa painters who came from vast lands of forests, rivers and plains over which sun really shines!

As for the pictures, I especially liked #1 in which the light falling on the grassy foreground is nicely captured...
