I liked the colour of this shot when I saw the field, but the shot didn't come out as vivid as I would like (even after saturation boost)- would like to upgrade, but it's difficult to carry a larger camera around when going out for a motorbike ride...

I think a new backpack is in order...

Long since I saw such a great landscape picture. Very intriguing landscape lines; double landscape s-forms. Very well balanced and the saturation is just about perfect.

Wonderful triangular and other geometrical forms. This is a first class photograph. You have got every reason to be very proud of it.

Camera model doesn't matter much. Perhaps MC brand doesn´t matter either :-). Got to check your other "topics"

If the scene was more vivid that what you posted, it must have been spectacular.

Wow! What a superb shot.

I actually prefer it cropped a bit on the right, as it first hit me by accident in my explorer window before filling the whole 1280 width of the screen with it.

It was truncated just to the left of the two big trees., i.e. 77% as wide; 23% cropped off the right. The lines on the slope seemto lie then in a more pleasingcomposition. The little red dot of the pipeline marker is more out of the way then, still providing a vivid point of interest & contrast, a bit less obtrusively.

Congratulations on superb observation! I hope you'll stick it on a wall somewhere.

The colour is just perfect on my monitor, balancing the subtlety of the greens with a vivid yellow.

Thanks for the positive comments, I didn't spent a huge amount of time cropping, but will do a bit more experimentation, cheers.
