Thanks everyone

eric I used the Nikon 28-105 lense here, set at 28mm and f/8. I also used a Hoya circ pol filter, never leave home without it .

gibson: at the moment i have no further fall pics, but they'll come soon I assure you

I'm surprised at 28mm was wide enough (after the 1.5x crop.) Gives me some hope for this fall when I go out to shoot the scenery (I have a 28-135.)

Have to get a Hoya circ pol filter. I've heard nothing but good things about the Hoya filters.

Simply a magnificient shot. Great matching colors, but with a small lack of dynamic in the yellow trees.

But indeed a good shot!

Can I get some advice on capturing that blue sky? It seems that if I want blue sky, I must expose for it and often everything else is underexposed. I do use a polarizing filter which helps a bit. How much of the above picture was enhanced in Photoshop?

I found that I am able to get bluer skies using the burn tool and adding some color (sponge tool) but all that does introduce a bit of noise.

Any advice?

Great capture, very crisp and 'clean' details. I have a Hoya SkyLight 1B however, I think I'll have to get the Hoya circ pol filter too
