first up are a couple of shots at sundown, it never gave much of a sunset but got these shots i was happy with

the pennines are a ridge of high hills and open moors down the spine of england

this time of year the moors are covered in cotton plants

a closer up view of the cotton

and these 2 are from a ride across the pennine way, again showing the sheer amount of cotton plants

Ravishing, enchanting photos, Gary. Cottongrass. Gently touched on the cheeks by the sun. Beautiful. Just the light...

Hope you'll like my daylight pictures of Cottongrass, about to come. Nowhere near your pictures but anyhow the same object

Gary,

Was just about to attach a little sample from my Cottongrass folder in my previous reply.

Cottongrass. One of my personal favourites among plants, all categories counted

Hi Gary, some nice shots of the moors there, looks like you had some typical Pennine weather for those :-)

John.

Hi Gary, great series of shots, especially No. 2 which is a cracker! Makes me very homesick!
