Really like the kind of touch you have for this monumental siteyou visited. The poem echoed with the photos. In theflow of time, mankindenthusiastically built and relentlessly destroyedfor the mere sake of a change in passion. I have been to Ephesus many many years ago and the feeling was mixed seeingsuch a beautiful and prosperous citybeing in such a ruinousstate. I have been thinkingthat this power of destruction was never from the people of the warring countries but rather the dictators who mastermind all these war games for the sake of their own pursuit in life - a sheer desire for more influence in the world and a so-called political purpose which haslucratiive ends. Politics stinks. We have a lot ofit on showeveryday in Hong Kong, with the councillorsthrowing mud against one another. Just wish that politics are farcicial talks of the lip service kind and none of those engage in these facicial talks will go to war to have their disagreement settled.

By theway,is there anyrestoration work for this temple you mentioned? Peter

Dear Peter, thank you for your kind interest : )Your degree of sensitivity about the matter is notableandI'd agree with you on the harm politicians have caused in the world!! However, you know, we should also regard thatwe're talking about edifices which havefaced many severe eartquakes, erosive effects ofclimate, wind, water, etcmore than 2000 years, and Ephesos is actually one of the best preserved ancient cities in the world.Despite being in the eartquake zone, some of the ancient edifices in Anatolia are still amazinglyin use! Let's take the Aspendos amphitheater ; )

As for the restoration work, the majority of Teoslies under the earth!

Cheers!

Bahadır

Nicely done. YOu are really mastering that HDR. I have finally got it going. I use Photomatix on the Bllending part. I could not get the HDR part to work but the blending is just fine for me.
