Friends,

Two books mean a lot to me

Rousseau, "Les RĂªveries du promeneur solitaire"

Thoreau, "Walden"

I often walk (hike) in forests. Beech areas are special. Their branches, twigs, leaves have a horizontal, flat orientation.

Very little light reaches the forest floor (!)

Light patches everywhere

Thank you, Musky. Beech trees also have a wonderful light green (!) colour in the foresummer as well as the Small-leaved Lime Tree

Not a chance with that belly of mine. Never pass the BMI index :-)
