I haven't posted recently, but I thought I'd start again now that I have a Nikon D200 with the 18-200 VR lens. Took this shot while fishing on Lake Vermillion, Minnesota, 3 weeks ago. Bob

So lovely complementary warmcolours there in the depths of your photo and the reflection of lightat the foregroundon the wateras if put bysome well calculated strokes of brushby a skilled painter

Thanks for the comments. We didn't catch any fish, but it was well worth being out there. Bahadir, you once cautioned me, when I had expressed an interest in photography as a more serious hobby, that this could become habit-forming and more costly......you were right, but no regrets. And now I have an 11 year old granddaughter living next door who interested in photography; a blessing for me as well. She has a Panasonic point & shoot, but is already talking about "moving up"......when he parents can afford it, of course. Bob
