Wushi is one of the prosperous cities located in the inland of Shanghai. In prosperity, it has no match with Shanghai, Nanjing, Zhejiang and Suzhou which are in close proximity to each other at the mouth of the Yangtse River. However, there are a lot of rich people in Wushi and the following photos is a big house that I came across when doing sightseeing there. This is an old big house from the Ching Dynasty I think. I have not the name and further details of the house because I just ran by the house while aimlessly strolling in one of its shopping streets in the town centre.

I saw an old man working at the doorway and was permitted to take a few shots in the house.

Nice shots, #1 seems a little cropped of at the top, #2 is quite good

Thanks for viewing and giving comments, Musket and Cmoy.I didn't want to distort thefront wall of the house, so I didn't tilt the camera to include the top portion of the house. I might have stepped back a little bitbut then, I wouldbe on the carriageway. Peter
