Got my new 17-40 delivered yesterday so I took a walk around downtown with it after work today. Here are some of the consequences.

5. I liked this one in bw more... I felt the colour detracted from the subject.

You know these are great shots nice color, contrast, and sharpness are these PP or right out of camera? nice buy though i was thinking of this lens but the zoom range stopped me from buying it, so i opted for the 17-85 IS that i really enjoy

Thank you hercules and carylwithay I have modest settings in-camera I like to do any of the retouching in a program, so there was a little sharpening, saturation and levels work done as well as a couple dust spots removed. I need to clean my camera hehe. All in RAW. 3 was slightly tilted so I fixed that too. It is a pretty interesting zoom range, especially going from mainly using a 200mm prime hehe. I would have preferred the 35mm L but that was a touch out of my budget.
For example here is an untouched version of 4 "City Park"
