No secret at all: It's a standard "drop-shadow frame" action from Photoshop... I just select it and click <PLAY> and voila`, that's all

Inspiring images indeed

The layers of trees, the mistand the sky imbued with the the warm colour of therising sunin the first picture is so absorbing...

As for the second one, I find the white bodies of the dead trees in the mist ascending the sky,while the tree tops catching the glow of the early sunlight quite dramatic! Btw, very tasteful macro job in the third picture in terms of micro cosmos!
