Default Moon over Mahone Bay Nova Scotia

Passing thru Mahone Bay last evening and managed to snap this.
Hand held (forgot the tripod) 1/2 sec at F4.5 just no post processing resized and cropped a little to cut out the distracting auto traffic.

Great job of handholding at ½ second. Can you do that consistently?

Beautiful shot.

Beautiful shot.
The Nikon (995) best shot selector seems to help in these situations. I also stand with my feet wide apart and elbows tucked in and then squeeze rather than press the shutter release .

No sure how a best shot selector is going to keep a camera steady at ½ second. I try to make a perfect human tripod as well, but I can’t get a sharp picture at that slow a speed handheld.
