This is where the mighty Mississippi river begins. It's a place of uncompromising beauty, etched with dense forests and sky-tinted waters. The world's third longest river begins here as a small stream beneath the majestic pine trees of Itasca State park.

Yourinfluential wording along with the representative pictureyou took well compliments 'mr. and mrs.sippi' to run forever...You might also post another take inlandscape orientation displaying a beautiful horizontal composition, you know, sun setting over a forest beyond 'the sky tinted waters' between theworn branches of a lone tree on the foreground, in which you do not need to include top of tree this time, imo.

Thank you, Bahadir! I appreciate your feedback and naturally photographed this location from many different angles to gain a different perspective. Here is one a little later as the sun was up higher... not as much color in the sky at this point, but I got the bonus Canoe in the image.

The vertical shot is terrific. Great light and color, and I like that the entire tree is in the picture.
