Colors were just starting to change in this valley. The various colors and sweeping vista caught my eye. Hope you enjoy.

You captured such a beautiful piece of landscape, Amanda

The perfect exposure doing justice to both landscape and skyscape does not go unnoticed, btw!!

Thank you bahadir....Not sure you knew but my home was broken into back on 8/15/08 and both my digital SLR's were stolen along with some lens', battery pack and much more. I replaced my 40D with a 40D just in time to go to Colorado to capture the fall colors. Visit my website for more photos.

Oh! So sorry about that nuisance, dear Amanda! They might find it thanks to its serial number when taken to repair or maintenance. Looks like you were so pleased about your camera that you replaced it with a 40D again (considering the lens and the equipment were also stolen)..Btw, having just visited your website, I should say I've been drawn in by the fall colours of Colorado and yourgreat exposures!

Thanks bahadir. I do like the 40D. The insurance is paying out well. Still have my 20D to replace and guess will replace it with the 50D since they gave me $1399 for the 20D, if you can believe that.

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"I have tried hard to get out of the normal modes. Using AEB more, mirror lock up, and really concentrating on getting it right out of the cameral so minimal processing can happen. Have also been shooting in RAW which I am finding I like.

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"Thanks so much for your critiques. I always look forward to them, and listen when you give me your thoughts.
