went up to the mountains yesterday, looking for fall color. actually, it was quite disappointing... there was really very little until i got over to the other side, and by then the clouds were moving in and the light had gone to cr*p, so i didn't really get much. still, these were worth hanging onto... 40D and 17-35, various exposures...

The flow of the crystal water over the rocks and pebbles alongthe colourful bank issuch a refreshing image for the soul : ) I also see the snow coming down the path into the brook!

thanks, Bahdir. there are so many beautiful places up there, and it's so remote from the hustle and bustle of the city, it really is a wonderful way to refresh and recharge one's spirit... the cold, crisp air, the soft gurgle of water over stones, the brilliant reds and oranges set against deep greens and offset by patches of snow... it's a good thing i'm a photographer and not a painter, or i'd still be up there! :G
