scenes like this are one of the few remaining reasons i continue to live in Washington... the North Cascades offer some of the most beautiful alpine scenery i've seen... 40D, Tammy 17-35, polarizer, 1/3.3 @ f/13...

Lovely scenery indeed! A wonderful composition with interesting features nearby, mid and in the distance, with that kaleidoscope of colour (also the sky!)

Well done. Good use of the equipment.

thanks, Paul... i love being able to capture scenes like this so close to home. couldn't imagine living someplace where mountains, seashores, and other such photographic gold mines are three days' drive away...
