I was hoping to get some sunset shots, of this fall colored maple and it's reflection in the water, but NOooooooooooo.....

It was quite cloudy. I noticed the sun break through a small slit in the clouds and it lit up a small sliver of the Olympic Mountains. I zoomed across the water and captured these. Don't know about you, AND, I don't want to get into an argument of if this is technically a good mountain portrait :?.....BUT, it sure gives me a water perspective of approaching the island King Kong lives on....

What do you think (do I dare ask)?

Actually, the awe inspiring mountain range standingahead like the teeth of the earth, the tops of which penetrate throughthe clouds, dwarf anything that can be compared to human scale!

I especially liked the mysticlight in #1passing through thelayers of forest, hills and mountains, which,I think, provides some further potentialin terms of dramatic distiction of these featureswhenwater and the rest selectedseperately at PS,which could even make anicea print out!

Great images, Eddie. The cloudyness adds to the overall dreamy impression.
