Very impressive, a mixture of earth and something alien,(the foreground).

Thanks for the comments guys!

@MVASteve, it's strange you should mention the alien look, as quite a few people have said this! I never noticed but after looking again at the photo I would have to agree!

Beautiful mix ofcolors and bold framing. Just love the surrealist atmosphere thus far created. You have a hand with that and that is also something that takes much time and practice to get familiar with. Just awesome. Peter

what he said.

The more I see from your work I think that you found your very own style to present your view of things to the audience. I like that. Most people try to imitate and change their opinion every day...

I also think a plain photography without that "art touch" will not keep you satisfied - which is the other side of that own style. No pain, no gain...

Regards,
Th.

@thkn77, thanks for the feedback, I torally agree with your comments, the artistic side of photography is what seems to be drawing me in at the moment, and i'm really relishing the challenges it brings!

@Canadian, the shot was taken using a Nikon D300 with 12-22mm lens. Regarding settings, I shot iso 200, with approx 3s shutter speed to get the water effect, with the perture at around fstop 18 ro get a nice long depth of field...and a tripod!

If you need any other tips or help then drop me a pm....
