Having read about your desireof beeing alonewith your camera there, Matt, somewell knownlines froma poet came to my mind: ''Loneliness can't be shared...If it is shared, it cant be loneliness''. As for the picture; Iliken itto across section which depictsa 'growing'mood perfectly well

G'day Matt

Nice photo. One of your more appealing ones to me, imho. Thanks for sharing.

It has lovely tonal qualities in the clouds - a HDR I guess, or rather more use of other post processing tools? Quite nice and natural looking.

Also interesting coz it breaks away from the "rule" of thirds, and I think it works!

It makes me feel like my head is right at the bottom cloud level, which I like!

Quickly read part of your blog too... I often also do much of my best post processing in the little hours of the night, and yeah, I'm also filling up too many hard-drives with photos! Argh!

Cheers

Paul

Hi Paul,

Many thanks for taking the time to comment. Whilst this shot isn't a HDR, it was subject to extensice post processing in Photoshop.

It's interesting to hearthat you too have success processing your shots at night, quite a few other people have also said the same.

Incidentally, thank goodness for the advent of teh 1tb disk drive!
