Default Sunset worth waiting for

Weeks ago I posted a similar shot but the setting sun didn't cooperate very well. Here's the retake.

Comments are very welcome.

Diamond Head Lighthouse at sunset, Oahu, Hawaii.

Nice shot selvin! I was always on the waikiki side at sunset. That shot makes me wish that I had made the trip around the corner. Always good to frame these shots naturally if you can... you did a wonderful job.... J

John,

Thanks for your comments, loved the Boggie board shot in your album. Tried my hand at getting some shots of boogie boarders at Sandy Beach recently but will need to go back a few more times to get just the right shot....

The Diamond head area and now a recreation/park area is really great for enjoying the sunset and it's just right alongside the parking lot overlooking the surfing beach.

Nice shot ,is that right next to Diamond Head,or around behind it,with the reference being from Waikiki?

Folks, thank you very much for your kind comments.
Sorry I was late in responding but I was in Chicago, enjoying (?) :? the cold weather for couple of weeks.

Kanji, this shot was taken alongside Diamond head on the southern base. If you look directly at the lighthouse on the right you will actually be pointing your head towards Waikiki.

The road that leads to this point is an extension of Kalaukaua Ave past the aquarium, past the water fountain and then you hug the southern side of Diamond Head.
