Default Colorful Wooden Steps

A photo I took just outside Blue Mounds, WI.
It's next to an entrance to some caves for stalactites in wisconsin, just a few minutes out of Madison, stopped by after visiting a friend that goes to Uni in Madison.

To be frank, the actual tour was such a bore, I just enjoyed the hillarious geeky tour guide!

It was worth going just for this photo,
this is after playing with the contrast, saturation and colors to make it a bit more vivid.

would love to hear some critique...

What I liked in this image (other than the eye pleasing fallen leaves providing a contrasting reddish tone to the greens) is your including the foreshortening of the wooden item in the foreground bringing a perspective leading the gaze over the others that follow towards the opening to the top of the frame serving as 'escaping point' ...As for critics, the narrowness of the vertical frame diminishes the effect of the foreshortening of the seat, imo, and therefore for an even further effect, the frame could be made more rectangular enlarging the canvas and using the distortion tool. You may keep the bottom larger compared to the top and crop the extra part according to your taste. I've already tried it myself and it doesn't look out of shape at all ; ) Btw, I liked the humour in your intro
