As always Klaus, your photographs are wonderful. What was your shutter speed? You must have been using something to steady the camera...?

The more I look at that picture, the more I feel intrigued. Despite the sky, and blue sea, it gives me the impression that it's somewhere chilly - Scandinavia maybe? - and that a cold night has either just ended or is just about to begin. I like it.

I like the picture, but the white cloud streak bothers me. I would have taken it out .Other than that ,I think that the picture is great.

Interesting. I had the same thought about the cloud streak.

I like the picture (quite a lot) but my eye locked on to the screak almost immedately.

Very interesting photo, Klaus DK.

Please explain how you "arrived" at this photo!

I kinda like the streak. It reminds me of those digitally done things at the end of a TV show where you see the sillouette of a kid slipping into bed against a big window and the camera panning out and you see a shooting star.

Thanks you all for the comments. Great to get some feedback.

The white sky was the sky at that time. I wouldn't remove it - I think the colors are so strong/hard that the white line makes the sky looks a bit more natural and not too artificial.

This photo was shot this summer at 05:00 in the morning. I was up early that day for half an hour of sunrise shooting. Then back home to bed. The sky and water was painted (technique on my website BTW) in a way I like it. Used some blur on the background too.

That's all!

Sky = himmel, cloud = sky ops:

I think the white streak (cloud) is a condensation trail (kondensstribe) from an airplane.

Anyway, I think Your picture is great.
