Default Canon Stitch Software...

Took a series of 5 off hand shots to play with the stitch program inlcuded with my 300D. Didn't expect it to work so well! There are only a few blurred areas that I could find. Rest matched up rather well.

Big picture so I'm not sure if I should post it as an image or link. I'll start with a link, but let me know if it would work here as an image.

Thanx for sharing this impressive landscape !
A good panorama : how many shot do make it up ? 4, 5 ?

However, starting from the point where there is some white stuff at the bottom of the shot, horizon looks like falling down.

You can try to correct it in the following way :
make a rectangular selection from that point till the end of the shot.
Take care of having previusoly set a feather value to 0.
Now go to transformation and select free trasformation.
Click and drag vertically the top-right part of the selection till u are satisfied.

Thanks for the comments.

I was standing on the side of a hill so that may be what is causing the slanted look. And I think the white stuff is trash. I was right at the edge of the city sprawl, so there are a few thousand houses and a ton of construction right behind me. The picture was to document what the area "used" to look like, because it will be house tops in the next five years.

I grew up in the area and used to hunt and play there as a kid. Just wanted to remember.

I took 5 shots

A 360 panorama will certainly shout more loudly
