Ah, pity there wasnt just a bit more fog. Having those amishmobiles emerging from the fog would be such a shot. I really like the b&w treatment. And what can I say about your composition? No complaints.

Love it. Been experimenting with a bit of black and white myself. I like pretending to be Ansell Adams, I think.

Cheers, Ollie

Its funny you should say that. I was just going to study up on which is the best way to convert a color photo to B&W. There are half a dozen ways I know of in Photoshop, so which is the best?

Bynx, I use Corel Paint Shop Pro 10. I use the black and white film effect to get a photo close to what I want then I finish up by using the dodge and burn tools to lighten or darken parts of the photo. Before I started doing it this way I would just convert to greyscale and dodge and burn. Corels website has a free 30 day trial of Paint shop pro ultimate that is better than 10, I think they have it for Mac and Pc.

Bob,

Looks like two older ladies on their way to church. Is it amish-related

Only Amish people can ride around in Amishmobiles.

Torgny, we have a large community of Amish in our area.
